Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Performing regular maintenance and system overhauls to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Responding to breakdowns and shutdowns, ensuring rapid resolution to minimise downtime.
  • Completing work orders and updates using Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ensuring all repairs meet OEM standards and are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting with training and onboarding of new technicians.
  • Working with international teams to resolve technical or design-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of spare parts usage and recommending inventory level adjustments.
  • Participating in team meetings, site audits, and continuous improvement processes such as SWMS, Take5, 5S, and setup documentation.
  • Supporting stocktake, goods receiving, and packing in the maintenance stores area.
Key Requirements
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Certifications in Working from Heights, Rescue from Heights, and First Aid.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in automation or a similar trade-based maintenance environment.
  • Strong ability in fault finding and diagnosis on mechatronic systems.
  • Confidence interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
  • Skilled in using Computerised Maintenance software and general computer literacy.
  • High level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to process.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-first mindset.
