Job Summary

This is a six-month fixed term role, with the potential for further opportunity within the division. The Compliance Officer supports the energy division's compliance team in delivering its compliance and monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support and assist with the delivery of compliance and monitoring activities, projects, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Arrange, prepare, and assist in the delivery of briefings, file notes, notices, and reports.
  • Undertake research, including both energy and legal research, and present it in a clear, concise, and articulate manner.
Position Details

The Compliance Officer will contribute to compliance and monitoring activities by assessing potential regulatory breaches, drafting correspondence, developing compliance strategies, setting compliance priorities, and producing guidance for energy customers.

The role will also support and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the energy division, liaise and respond to routine enquiries from external stakeholders, including energy businesses, consumer groups, and industry groups.
