Business Growth Specialist

This is a key role in driving lending growth by building strong relationships, acquiring new business and becoming the go-to lending expert in the area.

As a Business Growth Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in driving consumer lending growth, developing and executing strategies to build long-term customer relationships, increase loan volumes and enhance our reputation as a trusted lender in the community.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consumer lending, with a proven track record of consistently delivering high levels of lending growth. They will also have a deep understanding of small business offerings, network development, credit analysis skills and a high level of technical competence in lending products and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong networks and partnerships with customers, colleagues and local stakeholders
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing referral partnerships and acquiring new customers through strategic networking
  • Providing exceptional customer service, guiding customers seamlessly through the lending process and helping them achieve their financial goals
  • Strengthening your community presence by building your personal brand, nurturing and leveraging existing relationships and expanding your network through active participation in local events
  • Leveraging your expertise in credit analysis and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes and future-proof their financial success

This is a permanent, full-time position and you will be located at a Community Bank branch in Perth, Australia.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive consumer lending experience with a proven track record of delivering lending growth
  • Strong networks and a proven ability to self-generate new business opportunities
  • A high level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
  • An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs and develop a holistic view of their situation
  • Highly developed credit analysis skills and an understanding of small business offerings
  • A self-motivated, high-performing approach with a proven track record of consistently delivering lending growth
