These are casual positions with a rotating roster for 4 weeks.
Successful candidates will demonstrate hands-on experience in a similar position within a DP Offshore environment to ensure a safe operation, in alignment to DOF culture and business objectives.Key Responsibilities Include:Assisting the Master in navigating and operating the vesselExperience in Winch operations working on AHTS and/or PSV Offshore vesselsLeading emergency response operations and supporting the crew in safety drillsEnsuring adherence to the company's Safety Management System and policiesActing as the designated DP Operator and managing all associated dutiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date navigation logbooksOverseeing the vessel's stability, trim, and fuel managementParticipating in the training and development of the deck crewFacilitating communication between the bridge and engineering teams for improved operational efficiencyRequirementsSkills, Experience and Key attributesHold a current Chief Officer DP Unlimited Certificate of CompetencyCurrent and/or prior experience as Chief Officer Offshore vessels such as CSV, AHTS or PSVDynamic Positioning Operators Certificate (DPO)Demonstrate Winch operating experience and/or certified is beneficialCompleted STCW Certification requirements for Offshore MarineGMDSS General Operators CertificateExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong leadership abilities and able to build positive team environment across the vesselResilient, Adaptable and Flexible in managing multiple tasks effectively within high-pressure situationsBenefitsHow to applyThis is a great time to be a part of the DOF Australia team working on several Offshore vessels.
