As a key member of the Merchandise Planning Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient stock flow and driving data-informed decisions through accurate reporting and analysis.

The Role
  • You will be responsible for developing and refining allocation grids by department or class per season, taking into account sales trends and inventory cover.
  • Efficiently allocating stock based on order quantities and current grids will be a crucial aspect of your job, as well as maintaining optimal levels of stock by setting up and managing min/max thresholds for key styles.
  • Coordination of stock allocation for new store launches, closures, and renovations is essential to ensure smooth transitions.
  • You will lead national-level stock consolidations and facilitate international stock transfers as needed.
  • Regular reviews of warehouse inventory will be necessary to minimize idle stock and ensure efficient allocation.
  • Daily sales analysis reports will be generated and distributed for designated regions, providing valuable insights to the business.
  • Sales and stock analysis across various parameters will be performed, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • Verification of the accuracy of all managed reports before dissemination to management and the wider team is critical.

This role involves working 5 days a week in our St Kilda Road offices, where you will enjoy a supportive team culture and environment.
