Event Logistics Professional

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Event Logistics professional to join our team at The Star Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup, pack down, and equipment movement for events throughout the property.
  • Set up and pack down tables, bars, drink stations, buffets, stages, floor coverings, walls, and curtains to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Facilitate inbound and outbound freight and deliveries within the Event Spaces.
  • Operate specialized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and Walkie Stackers, to transport large-scale items.
  • Maintain warehouse, storage rooms, and back-of-house areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and problem-solve.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Events Banquet or Warehouse Service field.
  • Understanding of safe work practices and ability to follow procedures and processes.
  • Current Forklift Licence and Pallet Jack experience (advantageous but not required).
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol.
