About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Case Manager to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a Senior Case Manager, you will play a critical role in assisting injured workers in the processing of their Workers Compensation claims. You will be the central point of contact for the injured worker, employer, and various treating health providers to process weekly wage payments, support review of requests for medical treatment, and ensure correct and timely processing of reimbursement of treatment costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process claims for injured workers, ensuring accurate and timely processing of reimbursement of treatment costs.
  • Review, monitor, and approve requests from injured workers for medical/surgical treatment, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is received to process weekly wage payments for employers and injured workers.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as assessing and processing invoices, entering contact notes, and drafting letters relating to decisions being made on claims.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to injured workers and employers, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, treating health care providers, and occupational rehabilitation services, to facilitate and influence a sustainable return to work and life for injured workers.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in customer service, claims management, or a related field. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as allied health, psychology, or social work, would be highly regarded.
