Job Overview

This position supports performance testing and quality assurance for SAP systems in complex environments. As a performance engineer, you will be responsible for test strategy, execution, and defect management across SAP modules, supporting both business as usual (BAU) and new implementations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test cases aligned with project requirements and timelines.
  • Lead SAP testing efforts across development, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production environments.
  • Coordinate testing with third-party vendors and support business subject matter experts.
  • Use ALM for test planning, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Identify and resolve test dependencies and quality issues.
  • Build and document short- and long-term strategies to address performance and quality.
  • Drive system technical test architecture and recommend improvements.
  • Support the test manager and provide stand-in capability when required.
  • Ensure all test artefacts are recorded for key performance indicator (KPI) tracking and reporting.
  • Seek opportunities for automation integration and efficiency gains.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP testing across multiple projects.
  • 2+ years of experience in large, complex environments with medium to large teams.
  • Strong experience with ALM and LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of SAP modules and testing cycles.
  • Experience in defect tracking and resolution planning.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and delivering test strategies and plans.
  • Familiarity with Microfocus ALM, JIRA, TestRail, MTM, XRAY.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN, XP).
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel to client locations if required.
  • NV1 AGSVA clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
