Ecologist Role

A challenging opportunity for a skilled ecologist to join our team and contribute to the success of our environmental projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ecologist with a strong background in fauna, flora, ecological communities, and ecosystems, particularly in Queensland regions such as the Brigalow Belt, North Queensland, and SEQ Bioregions. The successful candidate will have proven knowledge and experience in navigating State and Commonwealth environmental approval processes, delivering strategic assessments, and implementing efficiencies and digital solutions to enhance project efficiency and tackle client challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing team across field and office-based work.
  • Develop and implement technical plans and strategies to support diverse projects and clients' biggest challenges.
  • Responsible for outstanding client service through risk-based strategic advice and high-quality technical reporting.
Requirements
  • Over 10 years of ecological experience.
  • Relevant degree.
  • Valid Class C driver's license (4WD experience preferred).
