**Ecologist Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team in QLD, Australia.

This is a Principal level role where you will manage projects, provide advice to clients and internal staff, drive standards and mentor staff.

As an Ecologist, you will work on major infrastructure and renewable energy projects, contributing to a sustainable future for Australia.

You will have the opportunity to influence the NGH biodiversity team and provide input with new ideas and approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and internal staff.
  • Drive standards and mentor staff within the biodiversity team.
  • Work on a wide range of projects, including large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure developments.

For this role, we require:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Ecology or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in flora and/or fauna identification.
  • Knowledge of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation and policy.
  • Demonstrated experience with GIS.
