Senior Accountant Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Insolvency and Restructuring practice in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational aspects of formal insolvency appointments, including trade-ons, liquidations, receiverships, administrations, receipts/payments, and asset management.

Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting with clear and professional communication (written and verbal) with clients, creditors, lawyers, and other stakeholders. You will also provide advisory support on informal engagements, such as independent business reviews and turnaround assignments, and compile financial information, conduct analysis, draw conclusions, and assist with report preparation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to insolvency, restructuring, or forensic accounting. You must hold a relevant bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or similar) and be CA or CPA qualified or actively working towards completion. Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic are essential.

  • Engagement Management: Managing day-to-day operational aspects of formal insolvency appointments
