We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of our elderly residents.

This fixed-term part-time position involves driving resident engagement and participation in recreational and cultural activities, ensuring individual residents' needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organise fun activities to support physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
  • Ensure individual residents' needs are met, taking into account their values, spiritual, and cultural preferences
Requirements
  • Completion of Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or willingness to complete)
  • Experience working with people with dementia (highly desirable)
  • Current NSW/ACT Drivers License and ability to take clients on outings
  • Senior First Aid Certificate essential
  • Previous experience in caring for the elderly within an Aged or Community Care setting
  • Highly developed organisation and time management skills
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
