Librarian Teacher

The position seeks an experienced and skilled teacher to enrich student learning, foster a love of reading, and support teaching across the school.

To be successful in this role, you will create a welcoming library environment that encourages curiosity and independent learning. You will collaborate with teachers to design engaging literacy, research, and digital literacy programs, using curriculum-aligned resources and evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the library collection to develop information and critical thinking skills in students.
  • Enhance learning by integrating digital tools and building partnerships with staff, students, and families.
  • Support ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality teaching and a lasting impact on student learning.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching degree is essential for this position.
  • Registration with the NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory.
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation is also required.
