Job Description

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare is the authoritative source of health and welfare data and analysis in Australia.

This role leads and oversees the work of a newly established division, which comprises three groups: Business, Communications and Publishing; Data Integration and Governance; and Information and Communication Technology Office. The Executive Director will also oversee two other teams: Strategic Implementation and Advisory Services.

The role shapes the delivery of strategies, functions, and capabilities that underpin the organisation's performance in several areas, including data governance, financial management, audit and risk, human resources, communications, web services, information technology, security, and property management.

The ideal candidate has experience in leading corporate, enabling, and data management functions in complex environments. They are forward thinking, resilient, foster innovation, and drive positive change.
