Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Operations Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our infrastructure, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Windows & Linux enterprise infrastructure, Azure, SD-WAN, Office 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and hybrid cloud technologies. They will also possess excellent leadership, prioritization, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of infrastructure, both on-premise and in Azure, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and service desk professionals, fostering a strong customer service culture.
  • Drive cloud adoption and modernisation of legacy systems in line with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Collaborate with internal business leaders, group infrastructure and security teams, and technology partners.
  • Manage IT operations to ensure compliance, continuity, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead infrastructure-related projects, contributing to business innovation and digital transformation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Operations Manager in an SME environment.
  • Solid technical expertise in Windows & Linux enterprise infrastructure, Azure, SD-WAN, Office 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and hybrid cloud technologies.
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity, authentication protocols, and governance standards.
  • Excellent leadership, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to balance 'keeping the lights on' with strategic enhancements.
