Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical, schedule, and quality goals associated with allocated projects/tasks are achieved in accordance with agreed requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to delivery stream project managers with budget planning and forecasting.
  • Manage and deliver allocated projects within approved budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Support projects through the complete engineering lifecycle from problem report to final product approval.
  • Manage allocated tasks including bidding, delivering early engineering design, and close out of technical support networks.
  • Direct and monitor performance of contractors, designers, and other team members.
  • Develop high-level system requirements and system design to meet project specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in Electrical Engineering with working experience in technical design and development.
  • Experience in Engineering Process, Methods, Tools, and Infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a project team environment.
  • Existing Australian Defence Security Clearance or the ability to meet application requirements.
