Café Attendant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Café Attendant to join our hospitality team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service across café and food outlets.
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality in line with industry best practice.
  • Support the delivery of internal and external campus events.
  • Collaborate with the Café Manager to continuously improve service and product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, first aid, and food safety regulations.
  • Represent the university in a professional manner with staff, students, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in food and beverage or café settings (hospitality or education background desirable).
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive guest experience.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Able to work flexibly across café service and events.
  • Familiarity with food safety, workplace health and safety, and compliance standards.
  • A proactive approach with good judgment to escalate issues when required.
