Job Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, supporting our Chef and Educators in preparing healthy meals and maintaining a clean kitchen.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift 15kg and handle heavy equipment, complete temperature checks and understand food hygiene, and be familiar with allergies and nutrition needs for children.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our Chef in preparing meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and working collaboratively with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Understanding of dietary requirements and food sensitivities
