Freight Transport Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused driver to join our team in Emerald. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely delivering general freight to mine site locations.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in and commit to Linfox's safety standards and COR requirements
- Safely deliver mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
- Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company in a professional manner
- A commitment to safety in everything you do
- Forklift license essential
- MC license preferred / HC license considered with view to upgrade
- A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
- Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
- Good customer service and communication skills
