About the Heavy Vehicle Operator Role

Due to continued growth, a full-time permanent position is available for a Heavy Vehicle Operator to work in a dynamic and inclusive work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting containerised freight, operating heavy vehicles single to multi combinations as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and goods using forklifts & loaders.

Requirements:

  • A highest level driver licence (HC) and a safe driving record are essential requirements.
  • A heavy forklift licence is preferred.
  • Dangerous Goods licencing is also desirable.
  • The ability to complete paperwork such as pre-starts on vehicles and defect reports is necessary.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
