About the Role

As a Support Worker in our Shared Living division, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disabilities in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team that thrives on teamwork, proactivity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in their group accommodation during active hours
  • Be on-site overnight and provide support during inactive/sleep break when necessary
  • Ensure household tasks meet organisational requirements, including maintaining a clean, tidy, and sanitized home
  • Assist and support clients with daily routines, including personal care, medication administration, special menu planning, laundry, and person-led activities
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reporting to meet organisational and NDIS requirements
About You

You will be an adept team player with experience supporting people with complex behaviours and health needs.

Demonstrated experience following client-focused plans, including behaviour support plans, medication management plans, and other health-related plans.

High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and positivity while maintaining Sunnyfield values: Respect, Trust, Honesty, and Innovation.

You will be able to accept a roster consisting of sleepover shifts and understand their importance in service delivery.

Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services (or similar)
