The Role:
  • Develop and maintain low-latency connections to global trading venues, covering both order gateways and market data feeds.
  • Coordinate connectivity with various FIX brokers, managing projects from inception to delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze exchange-facing components, suggest optimizations for optimal trading outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with flexibility in mind, addressing real-time issues as well as long-term projects.
  • Optimize performance, maximize throughput, and minimize latency.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Development experience in Java or C++.
  • A scripting language, preferably Python.
  • Experience working in high-frequency trading environments.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems. Solid understanding of network protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets.
  • Strong academic record in computer science.
  • Experience with some or all of the following: ITCH, OUCH, FLEX, Arrowhead, JGATE, OMNET, FIX.
