Job Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of new homes, coordinating daily workloads and managing labor and trades. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and time management skills, as well as experience in residential construction and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Management:
    • Manage and coordinate daily site activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Oversee labor and trade personnel to guarantee quality workmanship.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate with clients to ensure their needs are met throughout the construction process.
    • Schedule and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Labor and Trade Management:
    • Hire, train, and supervise labor and trade personnel.
    • Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials, and equipment usage.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years' experience in a foreman/supervisor/site manager role.
    • Previous experience working for a project home builder is preferred.
  • Credentials:
    • Strong background in residential construction.
    • Relevant trade qualifications - carpentry or building ideally.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and time management skills.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
