Job Description:

Personal Care Assistants play a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents in our care facilities. They are responsible for providing support and care according to the resident's individual needs, preferences, and strengths.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, focusing on delivering person-centred care approaches to all interactions with residents. Your role will involve considering the residents' individual needs, stage of life, development, and strengths when engaging in support activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Encouraging independence and self-esteem through meaningful activities
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working in an aged care facility
  • Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
