We are seeking a skilled professional to drive social procurement reform and make a meaningful impact on the community.

The role of Social Procurement Specialist is part of our Investment and Procurement branch, where you will contribute to initiatives that promote social benefit and economic growth. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for maximum social impact under our Social Procurement Framework.

This position offers a unique chance to develop your skills in project management, leadership, communication, and influencing. You will need to demonstrate expertise in Victorian Government economic and social policy processes and have experience in implementing social procurement initiatives successfully.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, senior leaders, and representatives of social benefit suppliers and industry groups. You will also contribute to initiatives that build your skills and exposure across the Department and Victorian Public Service.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical skills, be able to communicate complex ideas effectively, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to be passionate about making a difference and committed to delivering results-driven solutions.
