Logistics Operations Specialist

We're seeking a multi-skilled professional to manage logistics operations and implement management systems.

  • Establish and monitor principles, procedures, and systems in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain complex management tools using commercial software such as Excel spreadsheets and Access databases.
  • Perform item manager functions, including RIM/SIM roles, and assist in procurement and inventory control.
  • Manage delivery of inventory and repairable items against approved budgets and monitor contract performance.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders for delivery of inventory and repairables.
  • Evaluate spares pricing and investigate alternate suppliers where necessary.
  • Forecast annual usage and recommend procurement strategies.
  • Facilitate RI repair through established pipelines and perform basic warehousing tasks.
  • Contribute to compliance with stocktaking and auditing regimes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Experience within a government or Defence environment.
  • Logistics experience and proficiency in MILIS profiles.
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively across different levels and disciplines.
