Job Opportunity

Ravenswood is a day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. We offer both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School.

We are seeking passionate and trained RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Ballet teachers.

  • Deliver lessons to students from beginner dancers to experienced examination candidates.
  • Be familiar with the Progressing Ballet Technique or be willing to upskill and complete the course.
  • Hold an up-to-date First Aid Certificate.

Our current days of work are Tuesdays after school (3:00 - 7:30 pm) and/or Saturdays (12:00 - 5:00 pm), during term time.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide their Working With Children Check number in order to be eligible for this position.

The successful candidate/s will be highly organised with strong communication skills, and have the appropriate qualifications and demonstrated teaching ability.

Requirements
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Experience in delivering RAD technique classes.
  • Understanding of safe dance principles.
