Job Title: Live Broadcast Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled live broadcast engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of our mobile unit, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that broadcasts run without issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting while executing changes and engineering updates on the mobile unit
  • Conduct regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit
  • Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status
  • Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit
  • Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience operating a broadcast truck solo
  • Good understanding of outside broadcast workflows
  • Understanding of SMPTE 2110 desirable
  • Ability to work under time constraints
  • VSM or TFC knowledge and experience with IP technology preferred
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize work in order of on-air importance
