This is an exciting opportunity to work with a child aged 4 years on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced, confident, and passionate about delivering high-quality care and education.

The family requires someone who can engage the child in age-appropriate activities, encourage independence and self-reliance, and provide light household duties related to childcare. The successful applicant should have or be working towards obtaining a Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care, possess at least 3 professional references, and hold relevant qualifications such as WWCC, Police Check, CPR, and Level 2 First Aid.

The role involves working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with flexibility to adjust days according to the family's needs. You must be willing to commit to at least 12 months and have the right to work in Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality care and education to the child
  • Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities
  • Encouraging independence and self-reliance
  • Providing light household duties related to childcare
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment
