Food and Beverage Attendant

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at HMAS Cerberus, Royal Australian Navy base.

This role will see you perform hospitality and catering duties in the Mess and Bar areas and ensure efficient service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a friendly, helpful, and professional service to all customers.
  • Clean, sanitise and maintain equipment, furniture and premises, ensuring required repairs and maintenance are reported.
  • Ensure all meals are processed in the meal pass system, cash is handled and banked in line with protocols, and any suspicious behaviour is immediately reported.
  • Assist with basic food preparation as requested by the Head Chef.
About You:
  • You must have current VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
  • Hygiene for Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Barista / bartending experience highly valued.
  • Customer Service experience and working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • You must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Ability to maintain a Defence clearance.
  • Pass an Australian Federal Police Check.
