Job Description

We are seeking a senior leader to oversee our strategic communication team, driving quality internal and external communications, engagement support and services that align with our organisation's strategic framework and priorities.

  • Overseeing the development and delivery of organisational wide communication strategies; policies and plans to strengthen ongoing consultation; reporting and evaluation to support the Strategic Plan.
  • Ensuring content is accurate, current and accessible on our website and intranet, and usership continues to increase.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Knowledge of Australian energy markets; the role, purpose and objectives of our organisation and the complex political and stakeholder environment within which we operate.
  • Substantial knowledge and demonstrated senior leadership experience across all strategic communications and engagement activities, preferably within a government and/or regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field(s) or a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
