Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Support Officer to join our team at Port Arthur. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Pharmacy Departments, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Pharmacy Departments, including human resources, recruitment, rostering, budgeting, contract management, and procurement.
  • Oversee and support the administrative aspects of day-to-day hospital pharmacy operations across the Pharmacy Departments at the relevant Hospitals.
  • Undertake recruitment and human resource processes for hospital pharmacy services statewide and manage the hospital pharmacy operations establishment, including variations to establishment and human resource funding mechanisms.
  • Coordinate purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable (including cash sales), and all other financial functions within the pharmacies, including the supervision of relevant staff.
  • Oversee Pharmacy-specific human and operational resource information systems such as leave calendars, rosters, and equipment registers to ensure that they are appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
