This is a fantastic chance for qualified instructors who are passionate about swimming, enjoy working with children, and want to teach the skills of swimming and water safety.

You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun individual with a flair for working with children. You should have outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure that our members, patrons, and parents gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from our services.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students from diverse backgrounds, ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach effective Swimming and Water Safety techniques to help grow our swim program
  • Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and be empathetic to the needs of the classes
  • Hold a current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Have a valid Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
  • Be a certified Swim Teaching professional (AUSTSWIM, Royal Lifesaving, or Swim Australia)
