Job Overview

This is an ongoing position for a Weekend Physiotherapist working exclusively weekends to provide continuity of care when patients need it most.

About the Role:
  • Provide appropriate, safe, effective physiotherapy management (assessment treatment) of patients referred within the scope of Rehabilitation Aged Care Palliative Care division physiotherapy services including hydrotherapy
  • Gain maintain experience across clinical areas by participating in physiotherapy roster rotations within the Physiotherapy Department hospital community
  • Assist in education of patients staff public by preparing presenting education programmes
  • Participate in provision of co-ordinated health care by liaising with medical nursing other professional staff regarding patient care in meetings ward rounds clinics providing written reports communications
About You:
  • Ability set priorities manage one's time effectively including ability supervise physiotherapy students assistants
  • Availability work weekends only
  • Empathy ability work range patient ages conditions responsible emergency situation
  • Capable meet job demands competent undertake pool rescue protocol RGH procedures
  • General postgraduate experience acute physiotherapy care hospital sub-acute rehabilitation
