Royal North Shore Hospital - Physiotherapy Department

What You'll Be Doing

To provide an effective and high quality physiotherapy service, as part of the Allied Health multidisciplinary team, based soundly on the principles of evidence based practice and established physiotherapy standards.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

• Full registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Evidence of extensive clinical experience with a minimum at a Level 2 Physiotherapist.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise and leadership in a specialised area of physiotherapy practice, such as orthopaedics, surgical, medical, intensive care or emergency care, with a proven ability to contribute to service development, clinical education, and/or research. This is complemented by broad and well-developed knowledge and skills across core acute physiotherapy areas relevant to the Royal North Shore Hospital setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
