We are seeking a reliable and experienced support worker to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in providing support to clients with cerebral palsy. The successful support worker will be responsible for assisting a client with daily living activities, including light meal preparation, stand and pivot transfers, and repositioning in bed as required.

They will also be expected to engage in gaming and streaming activities with the client. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and have a current drivers licence. You will also require manual handling experience, specifically in stand and pivot transfers, and hold relevant certifications such as CPR, First Aid, NDIS Orientation, and Infection Control Training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist client with daily living activities
  • Engage in gaming and streaming activities with client
  • Communicate effectively with client and family members
  • Transport client using personal van (client's driver's licence)

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in supporting clients with cerebral palsy
  • Manual handling experience - stand and pivot transfer only
  • Current drivers licence
  • CPR and First Aid Current Certificates
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate
  • Infection Control Training Certificate
