We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nephrology Staff Specialist to join our team at Skilled Medical. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our kidney transplant services.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute clinically to the management and provision of comprehensive kidney transplant services, including providing kidney transplant outreach services, education, and training support.
- Assist with the management and provision of Nephrology services at the University Hospital.
- Provide specialist professional leadership to medical staff within the department, and be an active contributor to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
- Assist the Clinical Directors of Kidney Transplant and Nephrology to provide quality leadership based on evidence-based practices and by demonstrating and enabling adequate communication to all stakeholders along the patient's continuum of care.
- Specialist Registration: You will hold specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent acceptable to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and registrable as a specialist in Nephrology with the Medical Board of Australia.
- This position includes both dayshift and after-hours on-call for hospital duties. This position may be required to undertake shifts in an extended span of ordinary hours to meet clinical need.
- Travel: This position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within the THHS.

- Generous remuneration package value up to $522,648 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $204,206 to $258,910 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (35%-50% base salary)
- Regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a.
- Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme of $20,000
- Salary sacrificing options are also available.
