Job Opportunity: Surface Field Service Mechanic

We are seeking skilled professionals to provide labor support to our surface and underground mining operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be confident in their abilities, and enjoy a new challenge every day.

The role involves performing scheduled services, minor rebuilds, and ongoing preventive maintenance on a fleet of surface machinery. You will also diagnose, problem solve, and fault find issues with the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduled Services, minor rebuilds & ongoing preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose, Problem solve & Fault find
  • Identify, interpret & repair parts & accessories
  • Meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes in a busy workshop
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural work environment
  • Excellent communication skills
Requirements:
  • Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile Plant)
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence (mandatory)
  • Proven experience on surface equipment
  • Proven experience with major components; including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drivers and minor components
  • Exceptional diagnostic & troubleshooting skills
