The Central Information Point Officer is a key position in Family Safety Victoria, focused on promoting the safety of families in Victoria.
This role requires identifying and extracting risk-relevant information from various databases, providing detailed reports to frontline workers to support assessing and managing risk to vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and provide advice on data held within databases, summarizing information to support risk assessment and management of family violence.
- Interpret and operate within relevant legislation.
- Provide advice on data quality, including perpetrator identity, and escalate complex data issues.
- Compose professional information releases.

- Critical thinking skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities.
