Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to manage our team of gardeners and enhance green spaces across various contracts in South East Queensland.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. They will also be responsible for managing a team to maintain and enhance green spaces, operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining and performing regular inspections on equipment, ensuring lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard, completing service requests as required, and adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of gardeners to enhance green spaces
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in gardening using push mowers, brush cutters, hedgers, secateurs, planting, laying turf, irrigation, and mulching
  • A valid manual driver's license
  • A White Card
  • Highly regarded: working at heights, ACDC license, EWP, working with children
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
