Job Overview

As a key member of our team, the Senior Engagement Officer role is responsible for program and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will contribute to a strong team culture, foster innovation, and ensure commitment to producing quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Indigenous organisations and government advisory bodies.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and policy implementation.
  • Support project and program management activities, including goal setting and strategy development.
  • Work in partnership to achieve economic development outcomes and progress local aspirations.
  • Provide expert advice and strategic thinking to improve policy and practice.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Greater Sydney.
  • Experience in project management and a desire to further strengthen knowledge and skills.
  • Well-developed communication skills and analytical lens required.
