At Flight Centre Travel Group, we are a leading travel company that offers exciting career opportunities. We are currently seeking a skilled Business Development Director to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious leader to oversee the growth and development of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue and profitability, while also building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Develop and implement budgetary plans and a 3-year business strategy to drive continued growth
  • Procurement & Product Strategy: Lead the procurement function, delivering a diverse product range to support brand growth. Build and maintain robust supplier relationships to benefit collective brands
  • Negotiation & Partnerships: Negotiate competitive agreements with key partners, including hotels, resorts, tour operators, and airlines
  • Marketing & Advertising Management: Optimize advertising budgets to maximize revenue growth and customer engagement

  • Performance-Driven Expertise: Proven ability to set and achieve ambitious financial and operational targets
  • Strategic Vision: Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to influence policy and guide strategic direction
  • Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated success in leading teams, developing talent, and building strong relationships at senior management levels
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to engage effectively across all levels, fostering both internal and external partnerships
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of AU$150,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience
