Emergency Veterinarian Role

Greencross Vets is seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to fill an Emergency Veterinarian position. Our Brisbane, Australia location offers a unique opportunity for veterinarians to balance their career and personal responsibilities.

About the Position:
  • This is a permanent part-time role with varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • The focus will be on Emergency and Critical Care (ECC), with flexibility to discuss a combination of ECC and General Practice (GP).
  • The team collaborates closely to provide premier after-hours veterinary care, and we are the largest emergency and specialist veterinary provider in Australia.
About You:
  • A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, with Veterinary Registration in Queensland.
  • At least 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary care.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • An innovative mindset to contribute to hospital growth.
  • Compassionate and high-quality care provision.
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with colleagues, clients, and referring vets.
