Job Overview

This exciting opportunity exists for an experienced FACEM Specialist to provide clinical care across adult and paediatric emergency medicine, Short Stay Unit, and Frailty Intervention Team. The ideal candidate will participate in aeromedical retrieval coordination, contribute to teaching, mentoring, and research, and support clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care across adult and paediatric emergency, Short Stay Unit, and Frailty Intervention Team.
  • Participate in the coordination of aeromedical retrievals.
  • Contribute to education and development through teaching, mentoring, and research.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality patient care through clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

About the role

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing clinical care, participating in aeromedical retrieval coordination, contributing to education and development, and supporting clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

About you
  • Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in both adult and paediatric emergency medicine.
  • Highly desirable: pre-hospital/aeromedical retrieval experience or qualifications.
