Kotzur Field Maintenance Technician role involves executing scheduled maintenance programs to minimize downtime during critical periods, as well as breakdown services and site repairs.

This position requires the candidate to possess trade qualification preferred but not essential - Fitter, Boiler Maker, or other Mechanical trade, excellent communication skills, ability to regularly travel for work and attend or work from site in the Toowoomba factory as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical handling equipment and experience working with agricultural, industrial, and mineral resource industries.

Suitable applicants will have relevant documentation completion and management skills, as well as the ability to liaise with clients and contractors to ensure job requirements are met.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide ongoing maintenance support through Kotzur Maintenance Services (KMS) for grain storage and handling systems within the agricultural sector.

The successful candidate will undergo a pre-employment health assessment, including a drug and alcohol screening and Police Check.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance inspections on structural and mechanical equipment
  • Repairs, including mechanical, welding, and fabrication
  • Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure job requirements are met
  • Relevant documentation completion and management
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification preferred but not essential - Fitter, Boiler Maker, or other Mechanical trade
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to regularly travel for work
  • Attend or work from site in the Toowoomba factory as needed
