Women's and Men's Health Specialist

This position offers a unique opportunity to specialize in women's and men's health physiotherapy, working with complex patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to women and men with diverse needs, including those with antenatal, postnatal, musculoskeletal, and gynaecological conditions.
- Develop and implement physiotherapy programs for patients with complex requirements, utilizing evidence-based practice and advanced clinical knowledge.
- Provide supervision, teaching, and training to new graduate and rotational Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, fostering their growth and development.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant experience and advanced skills in managing complex caseloads, with a focus on women's and men's health physiotherapy.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and teach staff and students, promoting effective learning and professional development.
- Commitment to ongoing education, research, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, enabling collaboration and information sharing within teams.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the management of antenatal and postnatal conditions, musculoskeletal issues related to pregnancy, incontinence, gynaecological problems, acute postnatal management, and acute post-gynaecological surgery.
