Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Communications Officer to join our team. This is a full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight, with start date as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Comms team to develop and deliver digital communications and engagement collateral, outputs, and strategies for the Department of Health.

  • Develop and manage DoH social media content (paid and organic) across multiple platforms, as well as content for the Department's internal and external web-based platforms.
  • Produce and publish a range of digital communications and multimedia materials for use across DoH, ensuring compliance with agency and government policies.

This role requires demonstrated experience in creating, coordinating, and producing communications collateral, including both printed and digital materials.

A strong understanding of graphic design software applications, such as Adobe Cloud, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Illustrator, and Photoshop, is essential.

Additionally, experience in producing and editing audiovisual media, including photography and video content, is desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated experience in creating, coordinating, and producing communications collateral, including both printed and digital materials.
