Funding Acquisition Specialist

Description:

This role is central to our organisation's financial sustainability, compliance with legislation, and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • The Funding Acquisition Specialist will oversee the acquisition, management, and reporting of all grants and funding agreements.
Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and pursue grant opportunities aligned with our organisational goals.
  2. Prepare and submit high-quality funding applications and proposals.
  3. Manage and monitor program budgets, including forecasting and cash flow analysis.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant Acts and funding body reporting requirements.
  5. Provide governance and compliance reporting to the Executive Manager.
  6. Develop systems to strengthen internal financial accountability and reporting.
  7. Build and maintain effective relationships with government departments and key stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Recent contract and grant management experience across Government Health or similar environments.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check.
  • Current Driver's Licence valid in Australia.
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption.
  • Legal right to live and work in Australia.
