Funding Acquisition Specialist
Description:This role is central to our organisation's financial sustainability, compliance with legislation, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- The Funding Acquisition Specialist will oversee the acquisition, management, and reporting of all grants and funding agreements.
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities aligned with our organisational goals.
- Prepare and submit high-quality funding applications and proposals.
- Manage and monitor program budgets, including forecasting and cash flow analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Acts and funding body reporting requirements.
- Provide governance and compliance reporting to the Executive Manager.
- Develop systems to strengthen internal financial accountability and reporting.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with government departments and key stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Recent contract and grant management experience across Government Health or similar environments.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check.
- Current Driver's Licence valid in Australia.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption.
- Legal right to live and work in Australia.
