Overview

We currently have an opportunity for a talented Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

Responsibilities
  • taking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity.
  • identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
  • ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers.
  • willingness to work in the community (must have driver's licence and access to own vehicle).
  • Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
