Production Optimisation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Production Planner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about data analysis, planning, and improving production processes.
Analyze production data and implement LEAN principles to optimize factory floor operations. Plan daily production goals and monitor progress to ensure targets are met. Develop work orders and manage machine workloads to achieve an even balance of load against capacity.
Liaise with sales teams to manage production capacity against customer expectations and assist the Production Manager in day-to-day activities.
This role requires:
- Experience in the steel processing industry with strong data analysis skills
- Technical competencies in steel processing or ability to learn
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time prioritization skills
- Mechanical aptitude to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings
- Successful experience in implementing LEAN principles
